Life is Better Outside had a great weekend meeting Scouts at the Colorado Light the Fire Jamboree Event - Largest Scout Event in Many Years

The Colorado Jamboree, held this past weekend, was a resounding success, bringing together an estimated 1,500 + Cub and Older Scouts along with their families. This event was a celebration of scouting, offering a variety of incredible activities that went beyond traditional camping.

One of the highlights of the Jamboree was the inclusion of both girls and boys in the Scouts, reflecting the organization’s commitment to inclusivity. The event featured a wide range of activities designed to engage participants of all ages and interests.

A major attraction was the Trelines Adventure Park, which boasted two extensive courses. These courses included thrilling 100’ Ziplines, challenging Ninja Adventure Lines, Slacklines, and Roller Lines Obstacles. These activities provided an adrenaline rush and tested the participants’ agility and courage.

In addition to the adventure park, the Jamboree offered a variety of Do-U-Play Games. These included Trigo Ring Toss, Fish Fly Yard Game, Bash Net, and Bamzball. These games were a hit among the scouts, promoting teamwork and friendly competition.

The event also catered to different age groups with a plethora of other activities. Archery and Sporting Arrows Clay Shooting allowed participants to hone their aiming skills, while BB guns and Disc Golf offered fun and engaging challenges. For those who preferred biking, there was Mountain Biking,and even Mountain Boarding which provided an exciting way to explore the scenic surroundings.

One of the standout features was the Aqua Park, which included an inflatable obstacle course on the pond. This activity was particularly popular, offering a fun and refreshing way to enjoy the water.
Many families took advantage of the event to make it an overnight camping excursion. This added an extra layer of enjoyment, as families could bond over campfires and share stories under the stars.
