1) CHOOSE A STRONG, HEALTHY TREE WITH A DIAMETER BETWEEN 12" (30.5 cm) AND 22.5" (55.88 cm).
To calculate diameter, measure the tree’s circumference and divide by 3.14.
2) MAKE SURE THE TREE HAS A STRAIGHT, VERTICAL TRUNK - Not smaller angled trunks - as the SKYSTAND must be mounted to a vertically upright trunk for proper installation.

4) SKYSTAND ASSEMBLY IS FARILY EASY & SHOULD TAKE 30 MINUTES. Attaching it to the tree requires two people and two ladders. Make sure you're familiar with using a ratchet beforehand to avoid frustration during setup. Recommend the height of the top SKYSTAND bar be set at 7.5'- 8' off the ground.
5) SELECT A ROUND SWING FROM 24" TO 40" to attach to swiveling attachment near the end of the SKYSTAND ATTACHMENT.
